STEADFAST in joint venture with Global Talent Network telah mengadakan 1 program di mana the nature of the programme is to train one to be a good facilitator dan juga bagaimana untuk memanfaatkan kebolehan tersebut sebagai kerjaya namely as facilitating service.

Berikut adalah butiran mengenai program tersebut:

Name of the programme: “facilitator and entrepreneurship training”

Date: 8-9 of January 2011

Day: Saturday – Sunday

Venue: experimental hall

Held by: STEADFAST in conjunction with Global Talent Network (one of the most successful company with various types of motivating yet inspiring programmes which also is a famous and popular company creating marvelous and innovative people.)

Program ini telah berjaya menarik minat sebahagian besar pelajar iium and there is about 40 students are registed for the programme. This programme is actually very important in dealing with one ownself. Oftenly, we’ll regard ourselves as being less better than others an indirectly this negative perception will decrease our level of confidency. Through this programme one will know about their strengths and weaknesses as well as ways on how to control it so that it won’t give any long term defects anymore.

Assalamualaikum di ucapkan kepada ahli-ahli Steadfast..apa khabar semua? diharapkn semuanya sihat..Di sini ada sedikit perkembangan tentang program yang dianjurkan oleh Steadfast baru-baru ni iaitu pada 1 & 2 Januari yang lalu bertempat di FRIM, Kepong. Program ini disertai lebih kurang 30 orang.Program ini adalah salah satu program yang dianjurkan oleh TOT(Team Of Trainer) yang bertujuan untuk mendedahkan tentang peranan tentang biro masing-masing untuk exco dan mainboard yang baru di lantik..program ini berlangsung selama dua hari satu malam..  

Banyak perkara dan peranan biro masing-masing di dedahkan kepada exco dan mainboard..tak kurang juga pada sesi soal jawab..ramai yang mengambil peluang untuk bertanya lebih lagi tentang peranan mereka dalam biro masing-masing.Untuk mengisi slot pada waktu petang, dua org senior dlm steadfast iaitu abg niswan dan abg man telah di jemput utk memberi taklimat ringkas dan mengadakan serba sedikit perbincangan berkenaan peranan utk biro masing-masing..walaupun slot bersama senior2 steadfast tidak lama, namun para peserta dpt mengutip dan berkongsi pelbagai pengalaman daripada mereka.

Dalam program ini juga, para exco dan mainboard ada membincangkan tentang program-program yang akan di buat oleh steadfast utk masa akan datang..pelbagai idea dan cadangan telah dilontarkan oleh para peserta..akhir kata, selamat maju jaya dan selamat bertugas kpd exco-exco dan mainboard yang baru..majulah steadfast utk negara..insyaAllah (^_^)

ABOUT STEADFAST

STEADFAST (Students Facilitator team) was established in August 1991 by the Leadership and Training Unit of Student Affairs Division and Discipline (STADD), International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM). The main purpose of this establishment is to create a team of elite students to assist the young generation outside the campus in achieving their excellence in life, duniawi and ukhrawi and to uphold the mission and vision of the university so as to assist the university in serving the ummah.

           Formerly known as Gerakan Pembina Generasi Abad 21 (GPG 21) STEADFAST has been the leading human training based society for more than a decade. Previously, the name of STEADFAST was STADDFAST. This is because, STEADFAST once was not a society but was a special unit under STADD. This unit was trained to be a facilitating group and initially was composed of only 45 selected students from all the students in IIUM.

          Since beginning and until the year 2000, the members were never exceeded than 100 students. In 1997, STEADFAST was converted into a society to be organized by the students but still under the management of STADD. In 2001, SENDI which was previously under the CENSERVE became one of the bureaus in STEADFAST. Also in 2001, STEADFAST launched its alumni during the celebration of its 10th anniversary.

         STEADFAST then, as a society was first held its training in 1998. It is now known as STORM. Now, STEADFAST has more than hundred members from various kuliyyah in IIUM. It is now ready to be the factory of producing quality in creating future leaders in line and within the ambit of Islam and also to train them to face the reality of this world.
