12/13Apr 2014 - MAYS project or Masih Ada Yang Sayang is a  long-term project and the biggest project which was handled by STEADFAST since 2012. This project is supported by Dana Belia 1 Malaysia and it is believed to be a platform for University students to contribute to the society in helping the younger generations to shape a better future. This project will continue for the third stage which will be a motivational camp, Kem Sinaran Permata for the target group. The motivational camp will be conducted on 9th  June until 12th June 2014 in Malacca. In conjunction of the third stage of MAYS project, MAFET 2 or MAYS Facilitating Enhancement Training  programme was held on 12 and 13 April 2014. It was held in IIUM compound and outside the campus for explorace session.
MAFET 2 was organized to introduce the newly appointed committee members and facilitators about this project. This programme was conducted with the aim of training the new facilitator and committees to strengthen the ties between each other. On the 1st day of the programme, only the committee members were gathered in order to create the bond between them and discuss the setup of the programme. On the 2nd day, the programme involved both committees and facilitators. The activities conducted were more about ice breaking and modules training. Training and Module bureau was assigned by MAYS 3 team to conduct module session where many new modules has been invented. On the evening, MAYS 3 Explorace Team had conducted an explorace for the participants in order to simulate the explorace session for the camp. The explorace was held outside IIUM which was at Taman Tasik Layang-Layang. At 6.30pm, MAYS 3 team went back to IIUM. The programme was held in the hope that all committees and facilitators will be cooperative with each other and strengthen the ukhwah between them











11/12 April 2014 - Mc League which  is also known as debate competition was held at Economic Building Level 4 for two days starting from 10 until 11/4/2014 (Thursday and Friday). This debate competition was held with purpose to show and to improve the soft skills and communication skills of the debaters from every bureau in IIUM Steadfast Facilitator Club. The main objective of this competition is to strengthen  the Ukhuwah between members of the club and to increase general knowledge among the members of the club. As we know that IIUM emphasis to discover the knowledge of the worldly and hereafter. Debate is the stage where the knowledge  is spread and shared. Sharing is caring. Furthermore, the Mc League emphasis the members of the club to be more confident in confronting with the public in the future and it also taught the members of  the club how to debate and how to communicate in well manner or also known as formal manner.
For the first round debate was held on Thursday night while the semi-final and final round held on Friday night. Each bureau sent in four best men or members compulsory to enter the competition. Then each debaters will compete in the first round in order to be qualified to the semi-final and finally to the final. Only four out of eight bureaus were succeeded in the semi-final round which was held at Econs Level 4. At final round, only two bureaus which were RnD and SENDI bureaus were competing and the final result was SENDI bureau  announced as the winner of STEADFAST McLeague 2014.
























On Sunday,  16 March 2014,
Steadfast club had conducted a Multimedia Workshop for the new recruitment of Multimedia Briged. This programme is the first workshop programme runs by STEADFAST in 2014. Previously, this programme had been done only for the members of Multimedia Briged in Steadfast club. But then, our club decided to do it officially so that other IIUM students can join too and enhance their skills.

There were about 20 participants who joined the workshop. We had invited a trainer from other club, Bro Fatah from JKQ club to share his knowledge and teach basic skills in designing and video editing. The participants learnt on how to use Adobe Photoshop in designing and Sony Vegas as a software to create video. This programme was conducted in two slots with two sessions. The two sessions were theory and practical session . He delivered his slot professionally and really helped the participants to use the software. The participants seemed to learn much from this workshop as they succeed to finish the task given.

The contribution from the multimedia team had showed a good movement in boost up the club performance. Thus, this training may enhance motivation for the participants to contribute to the club and also IIUM community. 







SMEP or Steadast Managerial Enhancement Programme
was held on 8 and 9 March 2014. SMEP included two Steadfast’s in-house training which are SMICT( Steadfast Managerial Intensive Complete Training) and FSEP ( Facilitator Skills Enhancement Programme). 

SMICT was to expose new members to the new format of preparing financial report and proposal of any programme that they will conduct. In the morning session, the ceremony started with the introduction of new format of writing proposal by the club secretaries from the stage of writing proposal with detail steps such as writing with correct grammar until the submission of proposal to the representatives of CENSERVE. 

Then, the programme continued by the club financial controllers where they displayed the new and right way of representing financial report. After lunch hour, the agenda was proceed with explorace conducted by Team of Tainers with the purpose of showing new members the places where they would submit their documents and settle their club affairs. 

On the second day, SMEP continued with FSEP. During FSEP, the participants got the chance to expose themselves on how to be a good head facilitator, camp comm as well as how to get involve in recall team. In the evening session, the participants involved themselves practically to be head and co-head facilitator and also camp comm. In short, they could experience by themselves and thus spark their motivation to do better in the real situation.
