BACKGROUND PROGAMME

This programme is the first of such programme run by STEADFAST. By realizing that grooming and communication skills are very important among people nowadays, STEADFAST are really consider that this programme should be execute for its suitability and beneficiary to the entire society. This programme is the project that conducted by two bureaus which are Research and Development (R&D) and Human Resources And Management (HRM) Bureau of Steadfast IIUM. With the theme “Towards Sustainability and Global Competitiveness”, we believe that it can build something positive among the participant’s especially STEADFAST members and also Sekolah Berasrama Penuh Integrasi Gombak (SBPI Gombak) students as our future leaders.

SLOTS	DESCRIPTIONS
3.1  Grooming Skills	-       Participants will be taught how to have a better appearance and also built up the professionalism in their personality. -       Participants will be get chance to ask about this skill to the speaker.
3.2  Communication        Skills	-       Participants will be taught on how to improve their communication skills by the speaker. -       Participants also will be explained deeply about the importance of communication skills for the future use.
3.3  Module Activities      (with school students)	-       This is the special slot which is only for the school students and will be conduct by steadfast facilitators. -       Students will apply the input that they get from the first session on the module activities. -       Students will be divided into four groups which contains five number of students and one facilitator on it.

OBJECTIVES

1. To promote effectiveness of communication skills as well as grooming skills to the students.
2. To promote high self-esteem and motivation to students.
3. To enhance their soft skills and boost up their confidence level.
4. To establish self-potentials among youth towards preaching others in relation to S.I.R. Project.
